1. We have a new group of sight words this week! Have your child cut their sight word cards out and then have a look at each word together (bright green paper)
1. See and Say - have your child point to each word and say it together 2. Then choose an activity from the "sight word menu". Please complete this activity in your green journal book. When you are finished take a photo and send it to Mrs. T on Class Dojo. Please keep these cards in the provided envelope. You will need them each day! |
1. In your "Amazing Animal" writing journal:
a. Write a sentence sharing one opinion that you have about pandas. Remember an opinion is what you think or how you feel about something! b. Write two - three facts that you learned about the panda. A fact is something that is always true. This could include what a panda eats, what a panda looks like, where a panda lives or any other interesting facts that you learned. c. Illustrate the panda bear by drawing and colouring in the picture box |
1. Please visit www.kidsa-z.com and log into your child's account, using the sign in information that I have provided you with. If you are having any trouble logging in or navigating this website, please let me know :)
2. Please have your child choose 1-2 books under their "assignments" or visit the "reading room" for more options. Please have your child read as independently as possible. They may choose to "listen" to the book, if they need. 3. Please have your child complete the comprehension "quiz" as independently as possible. They can choose to listen to the questions by clicking on the speaker button. |
1. Find the "Goldfish Subtraction" game in your Math work book. Use your package of goldfish like counters to play the game! Be sure to save the snack until after you are all done playing... then enjoy the goldfish!
Start with your larger number and set that number of fish on your mat. Then subtract the smaller number (these fish are swimming away so you can remove them from the mat). How many fish are left? Use the virtual dice and roll twice to get two numbers. Subtract the smaller number from the larger number. 12 sided dice |
